Private Aviation Boscobel Aerodrome is located within one mile of GoldenEye and is currently under expansion. The new runway will be 4500 ft. long and be able to accept most personal aircraft. Plans also call for an immigration office for the location, enabling rapid entry and departure.
GoldenEye lies just beyond the one-street town of Oracabessa, an idyllic community on the northern Jamaican coast. The open-air market’s fresh produce and the colorful cottages along the road are a timeless reminder of the area’s bounty. The town name derives from the early Spanish Oro Cabeza, or “Gold Head.” It was the yellow banana that brought the area early prominence, and Oracabessa rivaled Port Antonio as the top producer.
